Third Annual PAC³ Summit – Lifespan of Survivorship: Impact across the Continuum of Cancer – March 30, 2007

The Summit was held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at the Toftrees Resort & Conference Center in State College, PA, and highlighted collaborative efforts that address the long–term survivorship issues and considerations confronting patients across the continuum of cancer care. The Summit featured keynote presentations from national and state leaders addressing the long-term impact of cancer survivorship.

2006 PAC³ Research Summit – Research Across the Cancer Continuum in Pennsylvania

The 2006 PAC³ Research Summit took place on November 30, 2006 at The Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center in Harrisburg, PA. This year's program included a keynote address from Dr. Eddie Reed of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.

Second Annual PAC³ Summit – Putting Access in Action!

PAC³ hosted its Second Annual Summit on May 19, 2006 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The event, sponsored by The Pennsylvania Cancer Control Consortium (PAC³) and The Pennsylvania Department of Health, had over 100 attendees from across the state. The Summit's theme was "Access in Action: Navigating the Cancer Continuum" and the event provided participants with a variety of opportunities to learn, network, and become involved in PAC³. First Annual PAC³ Summit: An Overwhelming Success!

PAC³ hosted its First Annual Summit in Harrisburg on March 11, 2005 at the Hilton Harrisburg & Towers. The event garnered so much interest from people across the state that we needed to create a waiting list for last-minute registrations! A total of 211 individuals attended the Summit in Harrisburg, and approximately 65 additional individuals gathered to view the Summit through videoconferencing at four sites, one within each of the four corners of Pennsylvania. Special thanks to Barbara Stader and Emilie Tieney, Summit Planning Committee Co-Chairs, and to the many other individuals who volunteered their time and efforts!

The Summit provided participants with a variety of opportunities to learn, network, and become involved through the presentations of knowledgeable, motivating speakers; viewing of Best Practices posters; interaction with the PAC³ Board of Directors, Implementation Teams leaders and Operations Committees members; and networking with both PAC³ members and non-members from regions throughout the state. 2005 PAC³ Research Summit

The PAC³ Research Summit took place on November 16, 2005 at The Crowne Plaza in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The Summit provided an opportunity to broadly discuss the progress that has been made in cancer research in the Commonwealth.

There were over 100 attendees, representing fourteen different counties in Pennsylvania and over 25 different organizations, as well as over 40 presentations, abstracts and posters. We also welcomed 8 new members into PAC³!
