Approximately 1.8 million people in Pennsylvania are eligible for Colorectal Cancer (CRC) screening but have not yet been screened. PAC³ is working to develop a collaborative CRC screening strategic initiative designed to reach persons in this at-risk population. By increasing screening use, morbidity, mortality, and costs associated with treating this largely preventable disease can be significantly reduced. The strategic initiative is planned to be a multi-channel effort that is based on the dissemination of best practices through primary care practice settings or insurer platforms. It aims to incorporate provider and patient education as well as a tailored navigation intervention. PAC³ is seeking interested financial partners to move this initiative forward.
